OK, so maybe they're a bit past their peak of relevancy, but I still like The Hives. I think they've recorded some of the best and catchiest rock songs of the last decade, including "Diabolic Scheme", "Abbra Cadaver", and "Hate to Say I Told you So". I really thought their last album, Tyrannosaurus Hives, was pretty damn good too - one of the best of 2004.
They've got a new album that's supposed to out this Fall. Anyone else interested, or am I the only person left that still likes this band?

Sorry, I just saw the topic. I will buy the new Hives album when it drops. I like some of the subtleties(sp?) of Tyrannoasaurus(sp?) Hives. I think that they can continue to expand on their base, garage, sound.
In fact, The Hives is still the only band that makes great music since they started to be "famous", at the time of The Strokes, The Vines, The Killers, etc., which are all bad right now. The "The" best rock bands are definitively The White Stripes and The Hives
