I want to know how many people paid for Radiohead's new album In Rainbows. I'm just curious.

I'll post the results after a few days, feel free to comment on the payment method here. I think it's a bold choice to try to release an album this way. But is it smart? I think so. But really only for bands with a strong fan base.

I knew the album was coming out on cd and thus I saved my money for that occasion.

I read some stats. on this. I can't vouch for their accuracy: Approx.50% of people who downloaded it paid nowt. The average price stumped up by people who did pay was US$2.26. I paid them 3 quid (approx. AUS$8), FWIW (well, 3 quid in my estimation)
