I'm a casual Killers fan who is quite fond of Hot Fuss and owns (but rarely listens to) the slightly above average Sam's Town. Which is a roundabout way of saying that I will probably own a copy of Sawdust before my local Best Buy closes tomorrow (despite the horrible album art).

Is anyone else going to be in possession of this potentially mediocre album by sundown tomorrow?

I don't plan to buy it but I did like both Hot Fuss and Sam's Town. Definitely going to be checking it out.

It's not really an album right? It's like a collection of outakes or something?

Yeah, I think it is a collection of outtakes, alternate versions and b-sides. It isn’t an official album, I guess that’s why it’s called Sawdust—the leftovers.

And I did see it streaming somewhere but it is gone now.

yeah i think it's a collection of outtakes. From what i've listened today of that album in a CD store, i don't think it's really good. i dont like the single.

I don't believe it tactful for a band to cover who they've been emulating for years...
