This album is decent, but they didn't stray much from the Employment formula...

If you haven't heard this band yet, pick up "Employment" first.

Well, I've just heard the new Kaiser Chiefs' Album and I have to say that it is amazing. Employment was an amazing album and YTAM is a honorable successor, it may not contain an anthem like 'I predict a riot' or 'Everyday I love you less and less' yet, but the songs are really catchy and I am sure that this album will hit big time. I specially recommend 'Love is not a competition (but I'm winning)' and 'The angry mob', they are awesome songs.

Ehh... I was pretty disappointed with this album. I really liked "Employment", wasn't expecting much From "Yours Truly" and they kind of delivered what I expected. A decent album, no where near below average but (esp. judging by the excellent elbums this year) def. not making my year end list.

i completely agree, though i really enjoy these songs....none are great. employment in my opinion was so much better.

i have to agree.something s missing from that album.

They were fine, but I didn't think it was worth getting the album. I love Employment, though.

I think the production on this album is killer. One of the best albums so far this year imo

it has also some killer tunes.i like it a lot.

I loved Employment. Their second album is solid and enjoyable, but falls too much into that frequent "more of the same but not quite as good" second-album trap.

Their live show this year though was the most fun I've ever had at a concert. Not necessarily one of the *best* shows, but easily the most entertaining one.
