Yeah right. You wanna be just like mcr. Now stop defending yourself and your precious band mr. bigglesworth, you're annoying me. And I don't like to be annoyed!

even ill admit that welcome to the black parade is an amazing/addicting song, even if i absolutely HATE mcr.... but it reminds me of Queen. and i love to be reminded of Queen.

THANK YOU for finally setting everyone straight. There is NO way anyone could EVER truly enjoy the load of crap that is The Black Parade. They so obviously only like it because of the critical acclaim. Think for yourself people!

The Killers I can agree with, but AFI induces vomiting and anal leakage.

Yeah I'm defending My Chemical Romance. The Backstreet Boys? Are you f***ing kidding me? Garth Brooks? You are really out of touch with reality. You go live in your indie world, where no one gives a shit what you have to say and no one is helped by it.
You are another one of those a**holes who just want to trash what they don't understand. Corporate puppets - ha that's funny. The suits came to THEM - not the other way around. And they used them to accomplish what they couldn't on Eyeball - reaching more folks with their tunes and experimenting with better sound. You indie snobs are all alike - everyone should live in a garage forever.
Grow up!

Doesn't your name kind of compromise all this? Look, whether they sold out or not really doesn't matter that much. Only a few people here are really living in an "indie world" -- I'm not, for example, and I despised this album. It was as boring as music gets, a derivative mess with annoying instrumentation and vocals, and rubbish production to top it all off. I don't hate My Chemical Romance because they're mainstream and overpolished -- I hate them because they sound mainstream and overpolished.

I think he was just insulted by the Backstreet Boys and Garth Brooks comparisons more then anything. He's right, too. Some of the names thrown out there on this thread (Paris Hilton, Nickleback) are not even close to My Chemical Romance. I'm not really a fan of their music personally, but it is a gross inaccuracy to compare Backstreet Boys to them. I don't care how much you dislike them - they could never be that bad.

That's just silly, Dork. Nickleback has written the same album four times. Backstreet Boys and Hilton didn't even write their own songs, for God's sake. At least My Chemical Romance are writing their own songs, and trying different things with every release. Like I said, I'm not saying that I like them, but trying to compare them with the previous three is inane.

That of course depends on your definition of "writing your own songs". MCR has stolen most of theirs from "classic" artists and made them rubbish.

I'm going to side with Dork on this one. Although maybe MCR write their own stuff, I think we can agree that they stink. Sure, I wouldn't take any Backstreet Boys or Paris Hilton song over anything else but at least they aren't annoying, pretentious losers like MCR--I think the correct word is conceit. MCR pretend like they are hardcore, deep, substance-filled musicans when they are just wihsy-washy losers with zero talent. I think we can all agree on that.

I have to admit, having avoided MCR due to the fact they looked, acted, and sounded like dicks (call me shallow), I got hold of The Black Parade, because I read a few reviews saying it was the greatest thing since socks. Colour me disappointed. In fact colour me incredulous. It's atrocious. I think we can all agree though, that Nickleback are the worst band of all time.

Ah Okay so it's another narrow-minded cluster of people who would like to label the black parade as trash because they don't understand it! Just Great. Everyone Knows How We Need More Of THEM.
