It's not in my spam! Uh oh. Also, while I'm on the subject, did anyone else think it was strange that you were required to give your cell phone #?

I believe it's all apart of security. Unless they're going to call each and every one of us to give thanks Razzer.

Wow, it's definitely been awhile since I posted on here. Anyways, I thought some of you might appreciate this:
http://rawkblog.blogspot.com/2007/07/preview-radiohead-lp7.html
This guy has put together a bunch of bootleg mp3 tracks (that are pretty good quality), all but 2 of which will be on In Rainbows.
!!! It's so exciting! Big Grin

Gotta say I would normally not make a donation to a band that's already doing as well as Radiohead, but I want them to be successful at this so badly I think I will. I want them to screw the record companies over as badly as possible on this one. Hopefully, other bands that finish their contracts with major labels will start doing the same thing. That'd be awesome.

How likely is 4.3 given that they haven't previously given them less than 9 or so (I think)?

Wellll....there's that backlash thing that Pitchfork loves to utilize. Observe:
Mass Romantic: 8.4
Electric Version: 8.1
Twin Cinema: 9.0
Challengers: 6.0
QED...

I didn't get a confirmation e-mail either, and it's been a couple hours. It seems like a long time, unless they've got somebody manually processing the card data and sending out confirmations. Anyway, let me know if you get the issue resolved ezkcdude. I'll give 'em 24 hours before I go beating down Johnny Greenwood's door.

The sender email is inrainbows@waste.uk.com if that helps any. Mine was in my junk folder also, but I think it came within a matter of minutes.

Is anybody else having problems with the transaction going through? I've tried a half a dozen times, and I keep getting different error messages.

I hope this is legit, or there's going to be a lot of weird activity on my card.

I think I read somewhere that Radiohead usually put out 192 mp3s. That number's fine by me.

I dropped 5 pounds on the album, and I consider it money well-spent.

I just checked my bank, and the transaction went through, but definitely no order confirmation. Hmm. Limey bastards.

The thing is I think you need some confirmation #, right? I actually just went to the website and tried to order again, and it said, "Only one download per e-mail address." ARGH! Now I don't have the confirmation, or the ability to get one (unless I use another e-mail, that is).

It finally went through for me on a different card. So, how much is everyone paying for the download?

I paid 2.95 pounds (I can't make the pound sign on my computer). $6 seemed like a fair price to me.

I'm thinking if you've got proof your card was charged, you ought to be able to have them and resend the confirmation. You shouldn't have to pay for it again.

They answer those questions at the site. I'm guessing they are getting pretty flooded about now.

The more I think about it, the more I'm not so sure I want to go all out and get the disc-box. It would be cool to own, but $80 is a little steep. I could probably buy 10 other albums for that cost. Putting it in that perspective, it's probably not worth it. I'm still quite excited to hear the new record. I've been a big Radiohead fan for years, and they haven't let me down yet. The live versions of the album tracks sound pretty good.

this is all too exciting....I just went and ordered the download....wish the discbox would be around $50 Canadian...oh well. Will get the other songs down the road sometime.

10 song album after 5 years though....(thought there would be a few more tunes...

I went ahead and ordered the Discbox. As I said before, it's my 20th wedding anniversary the day after it comes out. I have a turntable and will use the vinyl. I'll obviously use the CDs, and I'll use the download too. I'll definitely keep you up on my opinions of the different formats. I was kinda hoping I'd get both discs on 10/10 ordering this, but probably not. Even so, all the artwork, lyric sheets and booklets should keep my friends and me happy for quite some time.
