I thought it was great, though not quite as good as 'Bloodflowers' was. It seems to be the kind of album you have to listen to as a whole to appreciate. I think the song they picked as the 'single' is possibly the worst one they could've picked.

I'm not completely convinced. It has some nice songs but its rather patchy on the whole, similar to 'Wish' in that respect. I actually think that Ross Robinsons production saves it from mediocrisy.

The new Cure album is without question, the worst they have ever done. Worse than Bloodflowers, which was a bad album with a few diamonds to be found. I'm a huge Cure fan, but am coming to terms with the fact that they should have hung it up long ago.

What in tarnation are you talking about??? Bloodflowers was great. The new one has a few good gems...I got it free, and was surprised that only 50% of it sucked. Not bad for Smith, but I really wish he'd release an acoustic album...change it up and gear down to see if he has what it takes...
