Hi!
I´m wondering if someone can tell me a little more about Alternative Rock Summer Festivals. I know it´s a little late for this now, as the summer is almost gone, but as a festival fan I´m browsing for some appealing festival next year either in Europe or North America. We have this annual festival in Portugal (Paredes de Coura)but next year I´m curious to try the same scene but in a different country. Any suggestions?

How about coming to Australia? We have a couple of good festivals, I have linked to last years Big Day Out as the 2007s lineup has not been announced.

Well, the best in Britain has to be the Leeds/Reading festival. Kurt Cobain called it the best festival in the world!
In recent years they've had the likes of Pixies, Foo Fighters, Muse, Pearl Jam and even a reformed Dinosaur Jr to name a few. Glastonbury, on the other hand wanted Kylie to headline. Nuff said!!!
