I listened to my "best of Mellon Collie" mix earlier today, and this new one tonight. All I can say is "What happened, Billy? I don't usually trash music on these boards, but there seems to be a complete lack of tunes here. There are a few OK songs like "That's the Way…," but nothing exceptional. A few songs I didn't have the patience to endure to the end. The Pumpkins of old could rock hard, but maintain beauty within that context. Most of these songs try to rock hard, but sound extremely forced. With great bands of my youth like Dinosaur Jr. and Pearl Jam making strong comebacks of late, I had hopes for this one. Oh, well.

you can find here some great smashing pumpkins tunes :"doomsday clock" , "starz" , "tarantula|" , "united states" , "thats the way(my love is), "neverlost" like they used to make in the old days & some nice ones , but somehow they v lost the plot somewhere n you get the feeling that something s missing n doesnt work right.
it could be really a great comeback...now its just a good rock record with a few great tunes
