It's amazing to see how 2 people, with 2 instruments can make such glorious noise!
Even though all they have out right now is "You're a Woman, I'm a machine", it's safe for me to say, these guys might end up being one of my favorite bands one day. and i hear therr new cd is coming out later this year, can't wait!
what do you guys think?

They actually already have a remix album out, too, although I wouldn't recommend it. But I really dig the debut. Really cool stuff.

Personally I loved Romance Bloody Romance! It was one of my top 10 releases from last year. There's also a 6 song EP from 2002 called Head's Up that is a bit heavier and thrashier than their other stuff. Great band!

They are great. i saw them last year at Intonation and they rocked it pretty good. I can't wait for their next release of new material. Also check out some of the stuff by MSTRKRFT, he is one of the guys in the band.

I would definitly recommend the remix album. Several traxs are killer boombastic. Very cutting edge band.

Last Gang says October 10th for the new album (here)

I didn't bother getting the remix album, the tracks I've heard off it didn't sound too good. Although you should definitely get Heads Up! if you haven't yet.

I'm pretty psyched about the idea of a new DFA 1979 album.

and that is really a shame. they were one of the few (newer) harder edged bands that I could really dig.
