I haven't seen it yet, is it really THAT bad? Everyone I know was really looking forward to it.

Max Payne, the movie, is not a bad one. I just saw it and I think I really enjoyed it.

It's screenplay is flawed. And story doesn't quite follow the game and rating of this movie hurts it. It should have been more agressive but that doesn't mean that it should have been more bloody. Music and sound effects are great. Spesial effects are great. But there are parts in this film which make you have that "why did they do that?" feeling ("story" and "making of").

Overall I'd give Max Payne 4 stars or 75 points, but I think it's a movie you need to see yourself before making mind about it.

If you don't expect anything from it, it will be pleasant suprise, but if you go to seek state of art action film with lots of good drama and perfect plotline then don't waste your time, you will be let down.
