the absolute worst pice of crap I have ever seen and I am 52 years old. The people that made this should all be rounded up and forced into a gulag labor camp. You people suck arse. I hope you have miserable lives in every way. And for anyone to say anything good about this POS, you also have the same lives.

Calm down - it's only a film! It's not a great film by any means, but it hardly merits eternal torment for those who enjoy it. There are worse people in this world like mass murderers and genocidal dictators - maybe they hated Cloverfield, but I wouldn't like to be stuck in a lift with them. Worst piece of crap you've ever seen? PLEASE don't watch Battlefield Earth. If Cloverfield provokes such an angry repsonse, I would discourage any contact with John Travolta's questionable 'sci-fi epic' - it may result in a heart attack or worse. In answer to Tabuno, I would consider Carpenter's The Thing to be a sci-fi/horror movie - and a damn fine one at that.

I've experienced worse movies. I didn't walk on this one. The movie had a semblence of a plot and the acting wasn't wooden, dead, or ridiculously atrocious. And there were actually a number of people who thought this movie was great, though I wonder if most of them aren't from a younger generation. And if I recall correctly, there were one or two scenes that had me beginning to experience some tremors of apprehension, though not many. One recent movie that was very disappointing and would challenge for among the most difficult to sit through would unfortunately be The Happening (2008).

What makes this movie "unique"? The most I could come up with was that it was an attempt to cash in on the reality-television induced hit The Blair Witch Project (1999) and monster creepiness of the popular The War of the Worlds(2005).

IT'S CAVEMEN FLYING HARRIER JETS!!!!!!!!! What isn't cool about that?! I was rollin' like a mug at this most awesome and hilarious of sci-fi comedies! "Spaceballs" ain't got sh*t on this one! "I can't live the buttoned down life like all of you! I want it all: the terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles! Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"
