OK, so these guys were never folk, gospel, blues or anything like that. But I can listen to this album all day, probably every day. Go ahead and tell me that makes me an old fart with a Jesus Complex, but you guys all have your Complexes of Choice. What do you actually think of the album, the songs, the vocals, the theme, the overall package? The reviews which Metacritic posted are sometimes right on, but other times completely lost at sea. Nobody can ever agree about everything, but I'm ready to list half of these songs as Best of the Year, and the people who complain about repetition in music in their reviews must be living in plastic bubbles. If it's great, repetition is great. If it's lousy, it's lousy. "McFly!!! Anybody home!!!"
