I've been listening to a lot of Lee Hazlewood late at night the past couple of weeks. Anyone else on this board like him?

I'm curious whether he is well liked or not. I find him to be a lot better than some of the other older, quirky, hipster-approved songwriters.

I like me a little of bit o' Lee, as well, klt. Not large doses, but a little bit here and there.

I've also got a cool tribute record for Lee called Total Lee! that's got Lambchop, Calexico, Erlend Oye, and many others.

It goes without saying that his work with Nancy Sinatra is pretty good, too...

I really like that tribute cd, especially the Lambchop song. The liner notes are really good to. I like having Lee comment as he listens to his own tribute cd. He played a comback show in Phoenix a year or two ago that I wish I had been at. A bunch of the guys who he recorded with Duane Eddy played as his back-up band. He also recorded an album in Phoenix not too long ago, don't know if it has or will be released.
