I've been getting obsessed by a CD called 'Limbo', by a band of the same name, on Astral Recordings. It's beautiful, improvised, flowing music that's closest to 70's Miles Davis but in a world of its own. It seems almost deliberately unpolished, like everything is a first take- you can hear a chair or something squeaking on one track, but it has this amazing fragile, real, live quality- you can hear the musicians listening and responding to each other.
