The "Times" is running a big piece on Wynton in the "Arts & Leisure" section on Sunday. I'm sure he'll be saying some controversial stuff.

Meanwhile, I am counting the days until September when I catch Wynton & the LCJO who will tackle the book of Coltrane. I've already bought my ticket.

And Wynton is laying down tracks for a new Blue Note CD. It reportedly will be a long work, which is not my favorite Wynton. I like his small group work where he just rears back and kicks some serious ass.
