As you may have noticed from my previous posts, I live far from any “real” source of Jazz CDs. I, therefore, buy almost all of my music on-line. I have found both great and not so great on-line stores. My most recent find is:Music Outfitter . This site has a good selection (and they seem to have what they say they have), ship promptly, and have good prices for the CDs and the shipping and handling.
Any body know of any other good sites?

On my last order it took them three days to send me an email stating that they are shipping a partial order. Remainder of order will be sent at some future unspecified date. They will however send me an email within two days after the ship it.
I guess I will have to temper my recommendation!

The saga continues! It turns out that the back ordered items arrived in the mail and the "in stock" stuff is not available. They were real nice about it and promised a refund for undeliverable items after about half an hour on the phone.
Of the items that arrived, one had the correct jewel case but the wrong CD inside. With a record of 5 out of 8, I am now an EXcustomer.
Please, any suggestions for a good on-line source would be appreciated!

The Jazz Record Mart is another on line store that should probably be avoided. They do not always have what they say they have. They were slow to respond when they did not have what I ordered and the part of my sample order they did have took two full weeks to arrive.
I am still looking for a good on-line source of Jazz CDs!
Tower on-line, unlike the NT store, still has around 14,000 CDs in stock, but the prices are still not coming down at all. The CDs in my sample cart are still in stock and the price has remained stable for the last four or so weeks - no going out of business sale yet.

A bright spot out there in Cyberland seems to be Vintage Vinyl. There selection is not as large as some of the other sites, but they have what they say they have, their prices are on good, they process your order quickly, and their shipping charge is very reasonable.
"Thanks for ordering from jazzrecordmart.com. Unfortunately the CD you ordered, Adam Makowicz, "at maybeck" (concord 4541), is out of print and no longer available. We apologize for the error and are removing the item from our website."

Any body have any experience with "Counterpoint Music"?
I placed an order on 11/28, got an "Your order is being processed" E-Mail, and nothing further. They do not answer posted phone number, or respond to E-Mails?
Still looking for a good on-line store!
