I think you're off-handedly joking on it being the token jazz album but come on, they're recognizing the genre at least. Cuneiform has been pushing the boundaries of jazz for quite a while now and this is no different. From what I've heard of the album, it's pretty good. It's really loud electric jazz-rock that usually features the two sax players just screaming away. But from what I can tell, it's tightly focused with some real heart buried deep in there.

That sounds worth checking out then. Thanks, I'll pick it up and give it a spin.

Hey IA, did you ever get a chance to listen to this? I've been playing the heck out of my copy ever since you mentioned it; it's one of the best albums of the year. Some trippy jazz that features two dueling saxes and some huge walls of sounds, this needs to be sought out.

I had a gander at their myspace, and I liked it, but I left it at that. Perhaps I should take the plunge and report back.
