They're still here. I noticed their review is included for Black Francis' Bluefinger, which is fairly recent. Do you know of an album that they reviewed and the review is not on Metacritic?

This all has to do with my earlier thread about MC's changeover. I made the thread about maybe we'd lose the forums, but it's closer to losing the albums you want. By the way, that's the way the original Music editor pitched it to me too.

Sometimes it takes a while for some reviews to come in Fall. I remember I hounded mark about getting the White Rabbits' album to be on the MC site for a long time before he was able to contact the editor and he added it. So we are lucky to even have that album on the site.
I am guessing that sometimes they don't have time to put all of the scores in from sources. But I doubt it's something against the A.V. Club. Another album missing from the site is Pela's debut, which I also think the Club reviewed.

Minus the Bear got a pretty good review as well, but it's not on Metacritic.
No A/V Club for Josh Ritter, either.
Mark would know better than I, but there is a form where you can contact the Music Editor on the main MC site. Would alerting the Music Editor to missing reviews do any good Mark? or are they pretty unresponsive to the general public now?

By all means, write to the Music Editor via the contact us page, and Lianne, the new Music editor will most definitely receive that message. Missing reviews are of critical importance in my mind.

I've noticed lately, however, that Metacritic is not including A/V Club reviews. What's up with that?
why in the world is a/v club your favorite reviewer? they give everyone an a or b, turning into rolling stone in this respect.
