Rolling Stone reviewing Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen albums of the 2000's.
Yeah, what's their deal? "Oh Bob Dylan put out another album, let's give it five stars!!" Though to be fair, both Love and Theft and Modern Times were pretty awesome (L&T more so), but Bruce Springsteen's The Rising and Magic getting five stars? Good songs on both, but no way.

Hmmmmm.... Maybe. I think maybe it's the fact that hip-hop has sucked incredibly lately, so when something semi-decent comes out, people have been jumping all over it. Lil Wayne springs to mind. I like him enough, but i don't think it's anything to revelatory.

I think Pitchfork's review (and most publications for that matter) of Vampire Weekend is f***ing ridiculous. I mean the music is OK at best but for that to get higher than a 9.0 I just do not understand

P4k reviewers have been overhyping bands ridiculously fast this year No Age, Fleet Foxes and Vampire Weekend none deserved the scores they got. At least tmt is always around to give stuff rather bad reviews
