it's gonna be hard to have the highest score without being a ten considering the highest so far has been a 9.9

Yeah, but that was all old music. That doesn't count. They give 10's to old stuff every now and then.

I'm glad they gave Jens a 9.0. Easily one of my favorite albums of the year, even if it is a bit cutesy and schmaltzy.

Aren't there any girls out their who like good music? I need to and want to meet them. My favorite bands are Overkill River, The Nife, Songs:Ohio, and Nuetral Milk Hotel. Please let me know if your into indy music and like to go to show's and drink beer's and makeout.

It deserves the 9, though the chances are getting slimmer that a 10 will emerge.

I've been bashing Jens Lekman's newest a little bit on these forums, but I'm glad it scored high with P4k. I really don't agree with a 9, but I have enjoyed it quite a bit.

If I completely hated "Oh, You're So Silent...", should I even consider checking on the newest one?

Oh, and I appologize for hating it so much, because I really like Jens as a person, and can totally see why people like him. The album just made me want to vomit is all.

Outside of a few songs here and there, I didn't really like "Oh, You're So Silent Jens." Drastic change with Kortedala, which I've basically fallen in love with.

What are the chances that p4k gives the new Springsteen a 10? What about 5 stars from Rolling Stone?

10 from p4k: Not a chance.
5 from RS: Very likely. Where can I place that bet?

At Rolling Stone, you're guaranteed at least a 4 star rating if you've been around since the 70s, regardless of how terrible your album is (see recent releases from the Stooges, Bob Seger). If your album actually has a few decent tracks on it, it's an easy 5 stars. Ask Mick Jagger.

All I know is that it is Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and it comes out the first Tuesday of October. I am really looking forward to it. As for this:

I think that was the joke that Jack was trying to make. Of course there is no way that P4k gives it a 10, but there is a definitely good chance that RS gives them a 5/5.

And come on eric, the Stooges and Seger albums got 3.5/5 stars, not 4, get with it!

Close enough. I defy you to find anyone, including the RS staff, enjoying that Seger album.

He's doing it with the E Street Band, and I think it's coming out in October. It'll probably leak any day now.

All I've heard is the lead single, "Radio Nowhere" which sounds pretty good to me. Someone said it has the same chord progression as Tommy Tutone's "Jenny (867-5309)"-- might be why I like it so damn much. You can watch the video for it here.

Not all my friend, I genuinely thought you liked it. If you didn't like Seger's latest then I will just give up the ghost! Cool
