Hey guys, new around here. I usually don't like critic's, but I think this site is a great idea. Most of the music I like isn't listed on here, which leads me to my question:
Where can I find a list of sites that are used in making a rating?

I apologize if searching would find it - I couldn't find the right terms.

Are you asking what websites Metacritic uses when compiling reviews? What type of music do you listen to?

I don't dig the Stripes, but I'll go for Har Mar.

Yes, that was my question Mike. I listen primarily to metal, post-rock, and ambient.

Thanks for that link Mike. Why isn't Kerrang on the list?

I'm not Mike.

But right after that list of publications, Metacritic gives a response as to why they've chosen the publications they've chosen.

Too bad because based on that, I would have agreed with you. Cool

I know you are not Mike, Eric. I responded to Mike who asked for clarification as to what my question was.

Hadn't looked any further, but will - thanks again.

Sorry, I've glanced over that section and it's bullshit.

Exhibit A - I see very few or no metal bands on your site. Kerrang is probably the only well regarded publication in the metal world that reviews everything.

Exhibit B - Rolling Stone rates everything high. I've never seen a bad review from them. It seems like they're afraid to lose readers by reviewing an album bad.

Just my .02 though - it's not my site.

Fair enough. It's not my site either. I'm just a forum moderator. I think just about everyone here has a publication they think sucks or one they wish was included.

I think Metacritic should list only the score for Kerrang.

Anyway. What is some of your favorite Post-Rock? I like Post-Rock a lot, but have found a lot of it to be very weak.

It's okay, I'm a saint, I forgave your mistakes.
