Guns and Roses - Use Your Illusion II 5* (appetite what?...)

even oasis-be here now 5* (a lost classic.still remember the review.u should read it again to remember the spirit)
blah blah blah...n btw whats a 5* , 4* , 3* anyway ?
Hmm... Room On Fire is a good album, but it's not a classic, even in the wildest dreams of the most rabid of Strokes fans.
Use Your Illusion II? Mediocre, bloated, self-important.
Fat Of The Land - Nowhere near as good as "Jilted Generation". As for The Verve, I'd easily take A Northern Soul over this, but I don't understand the comparison.
Be Here Now. 5 stars? Surely even swallowing a litre of bleach wouldn't warp someone's mind so badly so as to confuse them into thinking this album approached genius. 2 stars at best.
Maybe it's just me, but top marks are given out far too often by certain magazines/websites. Some of the albums Q gave 5 stars (X&Y, Stadium Arcadium, Razorlight?!) illustrates this perfectly. The more often top marks are dished out, the more meaningless it becomes. 5 stars should be reserved for truly extraordinary works. None of these albums comes even close to that level.
