I just started a blog in August. Just music that I like mostly indie pop and my infatuation of female artists. It's in my sig.

I've read YANP and MOKB but I seemed to stop liking the stuff they put on there. So I just download albums and spew back whatever I think is awesome on my blog.

I, along with most of this board, love of Montreal as well. If you listen closely you'll fid that the lyrics aren't nearly as abstract as they seem, most of the focus being on relationships, fear of failure, depression, etc. These seem to be pretty consistent of Montreal themes.

Btw, I'm 18 (re: "most kids my age") and Someone To Drive You Home is still one of my favorite albums from this/last year (I'm in America but I listened to it nonstop last year).

I agree, but they can still be cryptic sometimes, especially on "Faberge Falls for Shuggie" - stuff like "skeletal lamping" and "the controller sphere" is kind of out there. (And yes, I know their 2008 album is tentatively titled "Skeletal Lamping.")

Hi,

I've just started a blog on music just this month at echoisaacashe.blogspot.com - I would very much appreciate it if some of you could visit it and give me feedback through comments or e-mails.

I used to write a column for a local newspaper on new single releases, but that was a few years back now, so I feel like my reviewing is a little rusty and would love the help.

Thanks,

Isaac.

I decided that there were too many ideas in my head running around to fit into every review I write for Delusions of Adequacy and Tiny Mix Tapes. I've started a blog. If you're interested in checking it out, go here

You can see my concert reviews and concert photos website for one of my favorite blogs (obviously). We cover live shows of indie(ish) music across the country.

For ones that I read, I'm a big fan of Ryan's Smashing Life which also has great concert reviews.
