There's not that many 2 player RPGs, to be honest. The best 2 player games would be:

Soul Calibur 3 and
Burnout 3

Both are incredibly fun and I can't stop playing them!

the balders gate games on the ps2, while not a patch on the pc version, are a good 2 player rpg.

Damn, and here I was going to suggest Champions of Norrath! The other Dark Alliance games are fantastic too, though I'm sure you've played them as well.

Also, the Hunter the Reckoning series has been holding my attention for some time now, and it's a blast to play with another person. It's very similar to the gameplay of Champions, but you're fighting zombies with guns and things. Fun stuff.

Whoops, my bad. I meant "Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance," and the "Baldur's Gate series"

Looks like the person above me beat me to it.

Hey Laika, welcome to the site. I just wanted to point out that instead of double posting to correct mistakes, you can edit your own posts by clicking on the middle "folder with pencil" icon on the bottom right of your post. No biggie, but it makes the threads easier to read. Cool

I definitely recommend picking up Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance, its probably one of the greatest multi-player games ever made. I would also suggest Timesplitters 2. That game is unbelievably fun, especially with 2-4.
