Shartie, that's a hell of a start for an "old fart" at our forums. Welcome. Not that you care, but all three of us moderators are older than you, and we don't play video games anymore (if ever.) The other main contributors to this thread may include somebody living at home, but the gist of the discussion is how to act at Metacritic Forums, and still have our "life" coexist with other "anonymous" users. Some of us here are a lot less anonymous than you might think. I hope to see you use some other colorful phrases around the forums, preferably in the context of meaningful discussion.

Oh and like PhilosopherEric, I'd like to tell you how I feel about my past. Yes, I was rude, but the past is behind us, and you cannot hold a bias (which is what you are doing) against someone like me who has been bad in the past. Its like a police officer bugging the hell out of an ex-con, or searching him every time he sees him, just because he was carrying in the past. ITS NOT RIGHT! So LAY THE HECK OFF.

For Shartie, though, I'm not really interested in the gaming area anymore, just getting this conflict resolved over superiority and rudeness..

To answer a question from an earlier post, you threatened to start a fight with Burning Man/Storm_Chaser and get both of you kicked off the boards, but I'm going to simply forget the past. I hold no real power over you, so your ex-con comparison doesn't really make sense. I've got the power to edit and delete posts, but I've never used it on you and have never even really been tempted to. To your credit, you always seem to apologize when people feel wronged by you, and so I'll put past bad acts in the past. Clean slate, as far as I'm concerned. No ill will, no bad feelings, no bad vibes. Peace in the valley.

Okay, I'm happy to leave this at any time. I think that generally, the Moderators here do a commendable job. I stepped in to argue how they were handling this situation (the same sort of behaviour that Nickel-Z observed, "teaming-up" or whatever you want to call it).
I don't see the need for more than one Moderator (actually, all three that I know of) to become involved in what was initially a fairly small-scale dispute, but it's not my really place to comment, and I have no axe to grind with the staff here. Also, pE did a good job of putting an obvious flame-baiter (Shartie) in his place.
Nickel-Z: No problem. I more or less knew what to expect. I only hope that you feel the same way I do about the issues mentioned in this post.

consider it done, squaresoft onboard and resident evil 5 in production. Don't get me wrong, i hate microsoft for what they've done to personal computing, but if they wanna take a multi billion dollar loss just to put a superior console in my living room, so be it, i won't complain.
