Ok... this is for those who want to vent on game companies who had seemingly perfect formulas for awesome games with almost flawless features. I still like the saying " if its not broke, then why fix it?" In this case, these are games in my mind that should have never been fixed, cause they were fricken AWESOME!
Final Fantasy 7- Need I say more? I hear about Final Fantasy XIII coming out, and its with a bunch of female main characters!! WTF!! The people at square need to ask their wife for their nuts back! How dare you ruin what could have been the greatest FF since FF7
Wrestling games for the N64 - Now this pisses me off. You make NWO vs WCW, which was a hit, Wrestlemania 2000 which was even more fun, and then No Mercy, which gets my vote for best wrestling game of all time. Now every freakin year we get another god awful dogshit gameplay smackdown game or whatever, with awesome graphics, and 0 gameplay factor... arrggghhhh why? why? why??
James bond 007 on N64- The perfect formula.. great action, story, and gameplay.. if they woulda kept those 3 aspects and added today's graphics, the other bond games woulda rocked too, but they ruined it.
Dragon Quest for the Wii: DQ7 was another great example of what NOT to change. They then get creative with the Wii remote, and forget about the gameplay and the story.. uggghh.. tragic..
I could go on.. but I'd like to hear back from other frustrated gamers about the games that should have never been changed!

meh, male - female characters - that never matters to me.
Resident Evil. I love the original games, and Zero and 4. WTF.....why Umbrella Chronicles? Hopefully that remains a one off and FP RE titles go the way of the dinosuars.

I think that will be a problem for the next Wii RPG/tactic games: creative gameplay for casual gamers, but no deep stories and classic battle system for the long time gamers.
