Do you think that because of today's online capability, does a game need to have online multiplayer to be successful?

I would say yes. I mean look at how much the internet age has changed videogames. A game developer needs to understand that the majority of gamers are going to want some kind of online mode, whether it be multiplayer or dlc.


The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Has anyone got any good resources or experience in multiplayer games in AS3? I am looking to code XML Sockets was better for multiplayer games but I guess this could of been turn based games but just looking up and it looks similar. ThanksI've been playingwith Flash multiplayer games
