According to CNN there are going to be many more ads appearing in games soon. I don't know what you all think of this but I find it a bit frightening. If "Need for Speed: Underground 2" is any indication of what is to come, then I don't want it. The only thing that can possibly come from this that is good is that the prices may drop (doubtful) which I would be very happy about and decide not to complain about the ad invasion. Otherwise, I would be saddened. What are your thoughts?

I enjoy playing video games because it's a break from the everyday grind of life, so if a game is shoving the same crap down my throat that I already have to deal with in the 'real' world, well - I may just implode.
I don't wanna be playing zelda, walk into a merchant shop and have to see pepsi ads, kind of a mood breaker.

For sure prices won't drop though, why would they? Free money on the table, that's what in game adverts are.

I don't like the idea any way you slice it.
