I totally geeked out on this game back in college and I actually graphed out maps of the entire game world. I still have the "atlas" somewhere. Raymond E. Feist's Riftwar novels were some of my favorites at the time, so this probably helped me enjoy the game even more. I have a top 100 games list somewhere that has Krondor sitting pretty at No. 1. I should update the list and post it here, as long as it doesn't seem like I'm being too pretentious.

No reason to duck for cover. Your opinion is just as valid as everyone elses. I enjoyed playing FFVII. Hell, I bought Tobal No. 1 just for the demo; and summoning Leviathan for the first time is still remembered as one of the most jaw-droppingly incredible moments in a videogame.

Wow it's great to hear about new suggestions in this old debate. All I ever see in these discussions are FFVII and the other usuall suspects but now I have Krondor and Torment to try out, thanks.(until then it's Chrono Trigger for me though).
