Riveraid (Atari 2600) Spy vs Spy (Commodore 64) Raid over Moscow (Commodore 64) Exploding Fists (Commodore 64) Yi Ar Kunfu...don't know how to spell it (Commodore 64)
"Kickstart" and "Wizard Of War" for the C64! They were played them to death. Also "Daley Thompsons Decathlon" (think that was the title). I'm still amazed that those c64 joysticks survived our gaming sessions.

it's called "pinball". It was one of the first NES games. In the same line of Golf, Tennis, Ice hockey, etc. These games were awesome and even funnier than some bad recent games
Um... I vaguely remember this thing where u shoot ducks. And then there's a dog that comes outta the bushes. Duck hunt? It was on the first Nintendo too.
A few others... I honestly can't remember their names. There's this one where you're flying and you're armed with a long pointy thing and you try to burst your enemy's balloon with it.
I played Super Mario Bros. 2 & 3 before. Mostly NES games like Bomber Man, Battle City and Adventure Island. I played it when I was about 9 yrs. old with my cousins. and until now..
The Secret of Monkey Island. Stunt Car Racer. Rick Dangerous (though I much prefer the 1992 sequel Rick Dangerous 2). Creatures. (there have been a few games by this name but I am referring to the one starring Clive Radcliffe as the hero who has to save various animals hidden about a landscape. At the end of the level, he enters a 'torture room' in which an animal is due to be mortally wounded in a fiendish, elaborate way, unless Clive can save him. It was a great game that spawned a sequel that purely had the torture rooms. It may sound in poor taste but it wasn't done that way. The game also featured probably the finest Commodore 64 graphics and music- I played it a few years ago and didn't feel like I was playing something that had drastically aged.) The Dizzy games released after Treasure Island Dizzy.
In my opinion, there tended to be an even greater number of excellent games released after 1990 on the Amiga, particularly during 1991-1992, such as Lemmings, Cannon Fodder, Another World, Gods, Pinball Dreams and its sequels. It was really 1990-1995 that was a hey-day for 2D gaming. As the Megadrive and then the SNES were launched, the PC and Amiga continued to produce great platform and adventure games including Superfrog and Fire and ice.
Super Mario World was released in 1991 in the UK (1990 in Japan.)
