and just when i was about to write off the console completely. if they don't make this game for any other consoles i might just have to buy a GC.

i've always loved the Resident Evil games. i'm glad to see they've pulled off such a great title. if anything, it helps justify making those horrible movies... now if only the next Tomb Raider game were this good...

Don't worry, Navidson. RE4 comes to PS2 later this year, if I'm not mistaken.

Not to say the Gamecube isn't awesome, because it is.

And yes, you should buy a gamecube anyway. There are a ton of amazing exclusive games coming out and it's a fucking cheap system right now - Mario 128, Odama, Advance Wars GC, Killer 7, new Legend of Zelda :::drool:::

Score one HUGE one for the cube - this game is quite possibly one of the best games EVER.

Indeed, and a sign of that for me is though I'm not a huge fan of 'third person' perspective games, I now rate this game as my favourite of all time.

Truly amazing - and a very shrewd move on the part of nintendo - I'm sure this title will sell a good amount of gamecubes.
