by the way i give fable a (adopting mikes interesting grade scale) 9511.5/10000 its way too easy and short and thats why its not a 10. but i beat twice in two weeks so it has serios replay due to all the side quests. i love how u level up and can steel things and get sweet powers, have interactions with people using different expressions there so much detail to the game but by far my favorate part is the weird ass halarios voice acting. i was playing with my friend (we beat it togeather) and it was funny as hell to hear people say w0owW and weird shit like that what the fuck i was thinking it was classic overall a great game but tooo easy and short.

A couple months ago I got GTA: SA and played it through in a few weeks. It's a great freaking GTA game. Just awesome. It's obviously not perfect, but I'm really looking forward to the PS3 GTA launch title. 9/10
Then about four weeks ago I bought NCAA March Madness 2005 and MVP Baseball 2005, both by EA. I haven't really gotten around to playing March Madness much yet, so I won't rate it. On the flip side of the coin, holy crap I love MVP Baseball 2005. I have been obsessed with it, playing everyday for at least a couple hours. Owner Mode is insane. It's so in-depth. The gameplay is also excellent, although I think it's time for me to move the difficulty up. The only complaint I have is with the announcing. Mike Krukow is annoying, and the announcers occasionally say things that don't make sense for the situation (like suggesting a sacrifice bunt with nobody on base). 10/10

I'm interested in picking up Madden 06 but I want to know how it is first. If it's typical EA bullshit then I'll just play another year of ESPN 2k5 or something. It looks like they already "EA-ed" the graphics, even though 2k games were far superior, but ah well.
What did the five fingers say to the face?! Slllap!!

yeh Im totally pissed about nfsu2 for the PC... it's kind of a sloppy game, dosn't feel finished, too sluggish when other games with more graphics (farcry, doom, f.e.a.r. demo) run chop-free. poorly laid out, ridiculous story/dialogue, terrible handling. flatout, GTA racing and trackmania sunrise are much better. fucking EA sucks, they are bad for gaming.

CompmanJX3 Know-It-All Posted 30 July 2005 04:57 PM I bought Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for PS2. Great so far.
Well done Compman, I thought no one bought that game. Its probably the funniest and addicting game I've ever played. If your reading it did you beat it cause if you do then you can start the game again with your old stats and do a bunch of cool things.
Recent Game Purchases: Ghost Recon 2 Summit strike - Very well done expansion to ghost recon two. I've been doing four player system links with my friends and can't get enough
Psychonauts - Hilarious and fun game, haven't played it much though so I can't really give any advice on it.
P.S I've beat the first to Metal Gear solids and am close to beating metal gear solid 3, what are some of the easter eggs in the game and things you can unlock, eg. I never got the single action army rifle.
INCREDIBLE HULK. incredible... everthing spiderman 2 could have been. I can't believe it hasn't gotten higher ratings, although even the "bad" reviews (60) have nothing but praise for the game. so addictive.
also advance wars DS and nintenpuppies. BUY THEM!

I just bought Radiata Story the other day. It's a pretty cool game with real time events and stuff like that. Characters in the game are actually out doing their own thing at differen't times during the day/night. Not like most rpg's were NPC's are just pacing back and forth waiting for you to come up to them. Also your appearance changes with every weapon/armor which is awesome.

tiger woods 2004. $30 AUD. i couldn't pass it up, but now i'm stuck on a world tour event in us southwest. it's the one where you play jim furyk. 4 days and i got nowhere. talk about ea making it hard!!!
I picked up Tales of Symphonia and borrowed a Gamecube to play it on.
My initial reaction: The battle system is fine, except that I wish certain characters would realize that 'Do not pursue' meant 'Don't charge the enemy and get killed immediately in every other battle'.
But the plot...seems to just use tired RPG formulae.
Here are the formulae I've noticed in just the first two hours:
-Make all your characters just ten year olds who picked up weapons or learned spells and somehow fight better than trained adults. -Make one of them 'chosen'. -Give them a bunch of element-related things to do that will take up most of the game, so they have a built-in excuse to move the characters all around the world.
I also notice, with regards to the characters' personalities and expressions, they went out of their way to make the characters more anime-ish in what seems like an attempt to sell to a younger target audience than their previous games.
Luckily the battle system is strong enough to make me ignore the potentially awful plot, but after I play it through I'm going to go play Tales of Destiny and remind myself that the Tales writers used to be creative.
(And then *pray* they go back to the Destiny/Eternia pattern with their next entry, Tales of Legendia)

Most seem to think the plot gets better later in the game (though I personally thought it mostly just got so convoluted that I could tell they were trying too hard). Yeah, the battle system is absolutely that game's saving grace.
I reserve the right to be entirely wrong.

The characters seem less annoying now that they got away from the school. (Apparently Lloyd is 17, but he acts 10.)
But now that the battles are a little tougher, Genis's completely suicidal tendencies are getting more annoying.
The enemies go up to her, and she just sort of stands there and casts spells. The enemies then murder her.
Hard mode in ToS seems harder than hard mode in ToE, where only the boss battles were actually hard. So maybe I'll try it on normal and see what the difference is. Say, if Genis can muster the will to live for more than five seconds.
Actually, I think it wouldn't be a problem, except for one thing. Apple gels cost 100. You get about 30 per battle.
I'm starting to wonder if there's some law in Japan that says in action/RPGs with more than one character, the AI must be completely incompetent, under penalty of imprisonment.

My little brother's playthrough was accidentally on hard for a while, and he ran into the same problems. When I played for him for a while I noticed and switched it for him, and the game really wasn't that hard at all.
Genis is male, by the way , and if you set his AI so he's casting spells mostly, he'll stay out of the way.

If there is an entire race of people out to kill you, and a stranger asks you if you're the person they're out to kill? ...Might wanna lie.
The AI became less of a problem when I got four characters instead of two. That way one character can't just stand there and get picked on, Genis and/or Colette have backup from Kratos.
