This is just a remake of the recent cd purchases and recent dvd purchases. But seeing as how people buy few games at a time it may be beneficial to include how you like it.

I will start with KOTOR II it is one of the most addicting games that I have played, but I disliked how long it took to get a lightsaber. It is every bit as good as the original and therefore gets the same score as I would give its predecessor, 101/101.

I bought Skies of Arcadia: Legends for Gamecube a couple weeks ago. So far it's excellent, and I'm really enjoying it. It's cemented a place as one of my favorite games as all time, and barring disaster gets a 10/10.

resident evil 4 (cube); this ranks right up there with Ocarina of Time for me.

Zelda: Minish Cap; mmmmm, I like this - just kinda feels like a Zelda gumbo. Elements of every zelda game are present. The whole opening sequence is very similer to Chrono Trigger, even the graphics are similer to Chrono Trigger. It is a good game, and I've only played about 4 hours. Oh - the game title screen is pretty lame - Atari 2600 title screens were just as lively.

I Bought the very first hack game and the shop i bought it from accidently gave me the fouth in the series by accident too and i must say tho that this game isnt as huge as people say the reason its assumed big is there is tons of like arena's you can goto to fight but they all look very simular so its not really huge but it is a very addictive game and the ammount of characters u get to use and interact with is awesome! wanna get the other 2 games in the series , id recommend it for a rpg fan but not the general gamer

Over the past week and a half I have purchased the following:

"NCAA March Madness 2005" (XBOX)-nothing that you haven't seen in a basketball game, except for the maybe a little inclusion of the fans. But I needed a college hoops game.

"Mercenaries" (XBOX)-This one is "Grand Theft Auto" during war time. You can do whatever you want, blow up buildings for no purpose whatsoever, shoot anybody regardless of alliances, and blow up random bridges. It is incredibly fun.

"Project Gotham Racing 2"-I needed a racer other than "Burnout 3" so I picked up this cheap game. Homestly, I haven't actually played it yet (Not enough time for three games at once), but the ratings are promising.

"Killzone" (PS2)-Certainly not a "Halo-killer" and not great but, very good. The game is too structured and scheduled, but all of the action is really well presented. 65/100

As recommended by a couple of members here, I purchased "Fable" and so far, I am not really impressed, although it is quite addicting, it isn't that great. But I just started and it will probably get better.

Ah Fable.

The best way I can describe Fable is this:

It is a DEMO of the best RPG game you hope you'll get to play. Sadly it's only a DEMO. It ends just as you're hooked, and it's watered down in a lot of places.

I beat it in 15 hours. I did most of the side quests, but I didn't get all the demon doors, etc. I spent a lot of time exploring. I almost never used the teleports.

The way you can interact with people (flirt, intimidate, be a hero and get cheered, etc) is really awesome. The combat system is great (real time).

It's hard for me to rate this game. At one point, I thought it was the best game I've ever played, and then it ended about 20-30 hours before I thought it would. It's got a nice replay value (you want to go back and do all the little things) but even then you probably won't play this game more than a total of 30 hours...beating being both good and evil and getting everything. It's just that short. Oh yeah...the ending is a single picture and about 2 sentences. Over all I agree with Metacritics score. But this game had the potential to get a perfect 100....

Maybe Fable II will be the real deal.

NBA Street Volume Three (XBOX)-there are many improvements from the previous version and the career mode isn't so short. A very good game for anybody who liked the the second installment.

I beat Fable in about four days, hoikensnogin was right, it was far too short. And once you beat it there is almost nothing else to do.

STAR FOX ASSAULT GCN: decent game, not great but not horrible. Namco maybe should have really played the first three to get down what makes a star fox title so good. It's good though, although it seems a little choppy - you complete a level and it seems like it is not ending and then

it cuts away.

Seems like Namco wanted to distance them from the Rare creations.....but.....ummmm....the Rare versions are what makes it uhhh good.

I pre-ordered the PSP in a bundle with "Ridge Racer", "WipEout Pure", and "Lumines". I'm pretty excited about this new handheld. As a long-time fan of Sega's Game Gear and the Sega Nomad (portable Genesis), it's about time we had a revolutionary new handheld.

ROME:total war - like heroin, but better

FARCRY PC
new for $20 - this is incredible, anyone know why/how it's so cheap? this game is almost as good as HL2 and better for pure action and (maybe) graphics... especially on a new DLP projector

Also bought Baten Kaitos and returned it when I heard the voice acting (compounded by the abysmal script) for Racing Gears Advanced, which is the best SNES racing game never made

How did you play the game without a PS2?

Anyway, I'll get back to you when I finish the game. I'm about 10 hours in as we speak, and I can't seem to get enough of it.

Okay, update time: I just finished MGS3. The ending was great, tying plot threads together nicely, and the final boss fight was suitably theatrical, sort of reminding me of those Asian feudal-era martial-arts epics. Any particular thoughts on the game?

I was wondering if you tracked your stats, and kept note on how many bad guys you nailed and how long it took. Anyway if you haven't already check out Konmai's own site and check out the SECRET THEATER. It's pretty damn funny.

Difficulty: Normal
Play Time: 24:04:29
Save: 42 times
Continue: 14 times
Alert Mode: 57 times
Humans killed: 177 people
Seriously Injured: 109 times
Total Damage: 24 Life bars
Life Medicince Used: 5 times
Plants and Animals captured: 33
Meals Eaten: 64
Special Item: Not used

I didn't get any speical items the first time through, which kinda sucked and my brother managed to get the S.A.A (A.K.A. coolest gun in Metal Gear) I didn't realize it at first but the game has a tremendous amount of camouflages not to mention real life animals. Also I was wondering how long it took you to fight "The End" and "The Sorrow". Took me three times to find out how to beat The Sorrow and nearly two hours for "The End". With the Snake Eater completed I'm still in love with Kojima's art and direction. And snake still remains as one bad mama jamma. (Seriously, only snake would run directly at you with a survival knife and no shirt, while taking 20 penetrating rounds to the chest only to catch up to an enemy and give em' a good ol' neck chopping)

Who was the easiest boss?
Who was the coolest boss?
Who had the best & worst voice acting?
What was your favorite gun?
Coolest new addition to the series?
Favorite random ass, Kojima directed, impossible nonsense, cut-scene?

p.s. I borrowed my friends PS2 just to play.

Revolver Ocelot, probably.

The Boss, for sure. The Fury is probably a close second.

All of the major characters were good. The Fear was probably the worst.

The sniper rifle, possibly.

I liked the camouflage system.

Maybe The Pain's entrance.

Also, I recorded my (rather pitiful) end-game stats and posted them somewhere else on the Internet. I'll put them up here later.
