i just want to see what the rest of this forum has to say, but im rele pissed at EA Sports, i mean, you go to next gen and you expect a pretty drastic upgrade, well all(except for Fight Night) of your games have been taken down, way down, the players in Madden feel like robots, your baseball games havent even came to next gen so i dont know that, and your hockey games dont come close to 2K, and dont even get me started on basketball, i just wonder what happend, i used to buy every EA Sports game that came out, because i knew it would be the highest of quality and very well done, well my expectations havent been met on the next generation consoles, the only game i will be buying made by EA is Fight Night Round 4, because I love the Fight Night's. But for Madden 08 and every other 08 title, you dont have my money, hell you cant even play 2 player co-op on madden anymore, thats something you could do in the freakin PS1 games. its time EA sharpened up

EA have always been the McDonalds of gaming software. Occasionally you feel like slumming, but you always feel unsatisfied afterward. Lazy, money making machine; quick to follow trends, and never trying to innovate or improve...lacking taste. EA or Maccas??

I totally agree about this. EA's just looking for a cheap way to make even more money. Apparantly they hope for gamers being blinded the shiny graphics and not noticing that all titles has been stripped down in terms of both gameplay and options. Fight Night is great but Fifa 07 is crap and both the NHL and NBA games have very little to offer. I sincerely advice any sports fan to switch over to the 2K Sports titles instead. They're so much better. Unfortunately they don't make soccer/football games though.

I was hugely disapointed in the last Madden game. It was way too easy, the players were really stiff, and they took out things like the fantasy draft and the superstar mode was worse than the year before. You can literally pass all over a human opponent with mobile QB, all you have to do is run around long enough for the DBs to get lazy. I'm hoping that EA will put all of there features that I used to love back in Madden, but i'm not expecting them to.

For football as the rest of the world knows it, I love Winning Eleven. I haven't played Pro-Evolution though, I might have to check that one out.

Winning Eleven is the alternative name for Pro Evolution actually..that whole PAL/NTSC split ha ha. So yr already loving it!

honestly guys... when has Electronic Arts EVER made a good sports game? Madden has sucked all the way back to super nintendo.

EA has does make pretty cool non-sports games, though... like Burnout Revenge and Need for Speed. They just dont care that much about sports anymore...

what totally blows is that their NFL games suck, but they are so rich and powerful they bought exclusive licensing from the NFL.

and thats another point i was going to bring up, EA bought the NFL license bc they knew that they would get outsold by 2K Sports anyday, thats a low down thing to do, now 2K sports is making a football game based on legends and fake players, and it will probaly outsell Madden
