If anyone likes anime (me personally, find it hard to get into most of it, but sometimes I find stuff that gets me suuuper pumped), then check out LAST EXILE. Its sooo amazing, best Anime i've seen, not that I'm a huge anime junkie. But the animation is amazing, the story is great, and...yeah, awesome, check it out.

what kind of style / story is it? fantasy /sci fi ? Japanese? American?

I guess its sci fi japanese, but unlike any other sci fi anime I've seen. The setting is well into the future, where almost everything takes place in the sky, yet it is still a time where there is no electricity. Check it out, if you're not taken by it after the second episode, then you probably won't enjoy it. Seriously though, check it out, its dope.

have you seen Cowboy Bebob? I would check out the episodes first but the movie's really good too. it's sort of a tongue-in-cheek space western about galactic bounty hunters, same guy who does trigun and some other anime about werewolves (a new series on cartoon network). the music is excellent
