I really enjoyed "Spirits Within"! Much more, in fact, than the actual Final Fantasy GAMES!

Well the movie seemed to have no relevance to the games so it is hard to compare them as if they were based around the same thing.

I loved the movie Final Fantasy Advent of the children it was really interesting and quite different from the one spirits within. The games I actually don't even enjoy. The movies are way better!

weird. Personally, i wouldnt want to see a movie based on a game i don't enjoy, but hey, that's just me.

As for Advent Children, it was cool to see the old characters and the visuals and sounds were beautiful, but i think it definitely could have been better storywise. After it was over i felt a little confused and not anywhere near as amazed as i was at the end of ff7 the game.

I really liked Final Fantasy VII and it was really enjoyable to see a sequel in movie form.

I was pretty impressed by how they continued the plot, and it was amazing to be able to see all those familiar characters and places in high-definition. Also, bringing back Rufus was quite interesting, and Kadaj and gang were a welcome addition.

When I first watched AC, it had only just been released within 24 hours in Japan, and all the subtitles available around that point were crap! So I’m still not a 100% sure of what was going on in the movie, other then Geostigma seemed to be some kinda of disease inflicted by Sephiroth or Jenova, and that Sephiroth was looking for some trace of Jenova to manifest himself through once again. I tried to watch the English version, but I’m too use to the Japanese voices! I guess I should just get over it and watch the English version already, although I’ve heard from some it’s just as vague.

All and all, the fight sequences were many and AWESOME! I love Final Fantasy VII, so all I needed to see was Cloud and the usual gang kicking ass! And I got plenty of that! So I was highly satisfied with the movie, and I’ve watched it several times.

Oh I also forgot to mention, as a supposed “Final Fantasy movie” I hated Spirits Within.
