I think the controller is going to work great. I think you'll pick it up very quickly, I think Nintendo is demonstrating this with the AOL / Nintendo contest....a complete noob gets to play the system in front of thousands being reported to millions this 2006 E3. That's promotion most can only dream of. Once people see someone completely green play the system with ease....alot of people will have to shut up.

I'm planning on getting Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario 128 right now at launch, of course we don't know just yet what will be availble, Red Steel is confirmed, but I'm really expecting Mario 128 to surface finally. And I plan on playing Twilight Princess to on the REV. Can't wait for E3.

ZOMG! Can anyone get me a list of games due for release? But yes, I'm REALLY looking forward to it as a Nintendo fan. Very very excited. The new controler is supposed to be heaven in the form of a conroler.

I like the name, Wii. It makes sense, a different name for a different console. I read the EA interview at IGN on Madden 2007. They confirmed the nunchuck attachment to have an accelerometer in it, that's crazy - move to the right your player moves to the right. This is shaping up to deliver the best gaming experience to date.

I can’t be nice about this… Wii is a stupid name, in my opinion.

A large part of me still believes this to be some hoax, but if this is the “best” Nintendo can come up with… I’m not at all impressed.

And no, I have no desire for some “ultra-cool” name… just something that is catchy and doesn’t require a 5 paragraph explanation trying to convince me that something so stupid really isn’t.

Nintendo, if you have to convince people of how good the name is… then the name isn’t good. It’s confusing and has generated a lot of unnecessary negativity within your core audience. I thought Nintendo was about simplicity.

I like the symbolism part about it, but I agree with Cody, the name sucks.
