Due to the lack of life in this forum, maybe from lack of gamecube owners - this topic was born.
Gamecube is a really tight system - problem is good titles geared towards people over 16 are kinda sparse. The Resident Evil series has been very pleasing though - and I am psyched for RE4 in 2 weeks. The REmake was great and RE0 was good and Code: VERONICA still manged to hold it's ground. Back to topic however......
RE4 looks to be the kind of game that really does raise the bar, the way we (or I was) were thinking Doom 3 should have. Is anyone else looking forward to surviving the new nightmare on GC? Myself, I can't wait to blow some heads off again.

can you maybe point me to a webpage with more info and pictures of the game? its been so long since iv really got into a resident evil game iv been playing some really interesting new games in that genre like obscure inpaticular and silent hill but i do kinda miss resident evil and would wanna buy this new one so yeah a website with pictures and info hehe cheers !

Gone are the static camera views and zombies. Hello vicious villagers and real-time full 3-D environment. Looks like it is going to be a great game.

I have to agree that this game looks phenomenal. As far as taking the Gamecube to new heights...well... It's kind of coming out on the PS2 too now.

it's not coming out for PS2 for at least 6 months, and personally I think the cube outshines PS2 hardware, none of that jerky choppiness you sometimes see... Anyway, RE4 is fucking incredible, and there's a renaissance in cube games coming out, like true sequels to Ocarina of Time and Mario 64, plus Killer 7 (the weirdest "adult" FPS ever made - you control a schizophrenic assassin and his 7 personalities, with crazy cell-shaded graphics and awesome style. hopefully they'll give the system a major boost, but I almost see it like indie films vs. the studios - a lot of cube games are critics' darlings but don't sell anywhere neat the madden franchise on XBOX

i have been a resident evil fan since my dad played it and ive plated them all but dead aim because i heard that the first person shooter blew, and re 4 so any good or bad information will be appriciated. and i hope it is as good as i have been hearing and im glad they ahave been bring the game back the way they have so if anyone would like to discuss residen evil with me my email is jn3345@yahoo.com.

RE4 = goodness.
10 hours in and WOW, what a game to play. I highly recommend this to anyone that has a cube, even anyone that doesn't. I can't see the PS2 version being so fleshed out though. This game is seriously decked out. Graphics, well, they get better as you progress, more so than what you've seen in the clips to date; enemies are c-r-e-e-p-y fast(!) dangerous. The gameplay is just great.
Blowing heads off has never been so good, uh-oh - maybe you shouldn't blow everyones head off though.

You'll be playing for an hour before you realize that you're tense and have been the whole time. Clausterphobic feelings, desperation and fear = RE4

Just beat Resident Evil 4, the last 2 bosses were way too easy.

can anyone beat the ogre on the castle. Its cool and creepy at the same time. But i always get stomped there. I really need to get a memory card. Well thanks.

I just bought this a few days ago but only played about 2 hours yet. From what i've seen so far....THIS GAME ROCKS. The RE franchise is saved!

This game is simply the best I have on my Cube. Amazing graphics.

Yeah this game rocks, whatelse is there to say. Hee hee hee Xbox 360 gets resident evil 5 at the same time if not before the other consoles.
