Has anyone else had the opprotunity to view this film. It has made the rounds at some film festivals but as of yet has'nt found a distributor. The film looks at a collection of photographs taken by Dorthea Lange for Life magazine in 1954 of County Clare, Ireland. THe photos are a look at the people and the times. Lynch the Director takes the pictures and goes off to Ireland in search of the people in the photos and the stories they hold. Their stories and the direction of the film carry you off in nostalgia hoping to see what has happened since then. The stories are very heart felt and looks at loss, new discoveries, memories long forgotten and the people that have been through it all. There was not a dry eye in the house!!
This movie exemplifies why I enjoy documentries!
