This movie has to be the best comedy of the year. if it's not then I'd like to see something that beat's. I laughed all the way through, and thats literal. The jokes keep coming and the quality fo the jokes remain top notch. Go see this movie. Easy 10.

Jules: Normally, both your asses would be dead as fucking fried chicken, but you happen to pull this shit while I'm in a transitional period so I don't wanna kill you, I wanna help you. But I can't give you this case, it don't belong to me. Besides, I've already been through too much shit this morning over this case to hand it over to your dumb ass.

i may laugh harder and more consistently in other comedies, but i doubt one will top the fully-formed, sympathetic characters in Knocked Up. some of the jokes border on crude, but this is easily one of the best, well-rounded comedies as a whole in recent memory.

I agree Knocked Up is the most well rounded comedy in a long time. The funniest movie of the year. I have to point out Paul Rudd's performance because he hasn't got nearly enough credit for his work in this and 40 Year Old Virgin. I would like him to star in the next Apatow comedy but that probably won't be happening anytime soon.

Oh yeah, who would be excited to draft Matsui in fantasy baseball, I could name ten better outfielders. Just alittle something that keeps bugging me.

yeah I agree with that, Paul Rudd did a great job in both 40-Year-Old-Virgin and Knocked Up. He is a very underrated actor. Seth Rogan is finally getting the attention he deserves. And I agree with your Matsui Problem, I'ma yankees fan and there are a lot of people better than Matsui.

So far...easily the Best Comedy of the year. Knocked Up is one of those movies that you could see a 2nd time in theaters, and still laugh your ass off. I intend to go see it with some of my friends, since they haven't seen it yet.

I agree with everyone else here in saying that Knocked Up is the best comedy (and probably the best film) of 2007. It's a truly perfect comedy that blends the right amount of raunchiness and sweetness, without ever becoming sappy. The entire cast is perfect, and I also agree with Paul Rudd being an underappreciated comic genius. Every scene between him and Seth Rogen was gold, especially the Las Vegas getaway.

This movie got a lot of positive press and was raved about by a lot of people. I don't know why but I just couldn't force myself, try as I might, to find this movie funny.

Most of its humour is lowbrow and popular cultures equivalent to the fart joke.

I poop big... Cool

No seriously, I understand disliking the type of humor that is presented on Knocked Up, but you most certainly knew what you were getting yourself into before you watched the film. I have no sympathy for you. You want sympathy? Look in the dictionary between shit and syphillis.

No seriously, I poop big. Cool

What's up with your weird technique of quoting your post in your post?

Knocked up was one of the funniest movies of all time. Seth Rogen did a great job portraying the " low life " kinda guy named Ben Stone, who was not concerned with much except building his pornographic website. Until he met Alison Scott who was played by the amazing Katherine Heigl, the girl with ambitions and who had a stable life. It all changed in one night at a dance club and ended up in a one night stand which ended up in a life changing, at the time, mistake. Nothing was thought of this one night stand until Alison began getting the infamous " morning sickness " and she decided to take a pregnancy test which obviously came back positive, hence the name "knocked up." The movie was awesome and not only was it funny the movie sent out a great message to the audience. The message that, a one night stand is not the best idea and/ or to always use protection and not to be like Ben and just give up when the condom rapper would not open. All in all the movie was amazing and had the theatre laughing the entire time. The actors all did an amazing job and I was very impressed.
