I'd appreciate more information on that last post, RL, but if you prefer, you can PM me. Specifically, I'm interested in what the different formats are, how that impacts the "bickering and hatred" and what you see as the evolution of our forums here (besides the obvious fact that we've gotten HUMONGOUS). I'm also interested in whether there is too much or not enough moderation. I also don't have a problem with your posting the info here, but I'd prefer to leave that to RL, and wait to see his response before we get into another free-for-all since that's not my intention at all.

i saw that and thought it was okay. standard but not in a "could be better" way but more of a "thats how it goes" way, but then i didnt see girl talk at 39 until just now.
hell yes.
i dont think i've seen any other forum lists have that one there and it was def. in my top ten.

RL, would you mind sharing where these forums are? I love this forum, but if everyone whose posts I enjoy reading are leaving, I would like to find a few other places to discuss music.

I was wondering about this too, as I was the only person who had Midlake at #1.

Glad someone noticed. I posted this about a week ago and no one responded. Thanks for clearing it up RL.
Nice comment on the "Polls", Borachon.

J Dilla didn't make the list at all?! He put out two albums last year...
um, putting out more albums does not improve odds of making it on a year end list. If anything it decreases them cos the votes get split between the two albums.

I know, I just wanted it to be on the year-end list because Donuts was my favorite album of last year. I remember it ranking highly on your list...

Hey, considering the last time was seven years ago, I'd say that we do alright by ourselves.

I know that there has to be some new people and also old people that would like to shar their lists of the top albums of 2006 or even mention an album or two.
My personal list has changed quite a bit, so I will need to re-post it. Personally, I love these kind of lists because it gives us a chance to debate some choices and also find new stuff that we have't heard.
----- If you don't love me, I'm sorry.
