Cat Power - "Could We," "The Greatest" Cam'Ron - "Gotta Love It" (Jay-Z diss) E-40 - "Tell Me When to Go" Kanye West - "Touch the Sky" (officially being released as a single very soon)
"Razorblade" and "You Only Live Once" - The Strokes "Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt" - We Are Scientists "Pitfalls" - Film School "Circle, Square, Triangle" - Test Icicles
And I'll second "Rise Up With Fists!!!" by Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins. Those Cat Power tracks are good too.
It's very -- very -- early, but so far my favorites of 2006 are the two leaked songs from The Raconteurs (Jack White + Brendan Benson), "Steady, As She Goes," and "Store Bought Bones," Cat Power's "The Greatest," and the handful of leaked songs from Gnarles Barkley (DangerMouse + Cee-Lo).

I like The Raconteurs' "Steady, As She Goes". At first I wasn't sure how a White/Benson collaboration would work, considering their styles are so different, but it's a really cool track that takes the best elements of each.
Both of their tracks are availible on their website, theraconteurs.com, which incidentally is the funniest website I've seen in a long time.

The new Gossip album is great. It's hard to pick a best song off of it, so I'll list a few: "Fire With Fire" "Standing In The Way Of Control" "Yr Mangled Heart" "Listen Up" "Keeping You Alive"
I think the Raconteurs collaboration works precisely because White and Benson's styles are different, but (oddly) complimentary. Benson gives White's music a much-needed infusion of pop melody; White gives Benson's music a much-needed jolt of rock energy.

I agree. I can't wait to hear the whole album.
