Blanche just put out an ep today which I am excited to hear, and even better, they have a new full-length coming out in early January 2007.

I'm not certain about the Postal Service, but every other one is pretty sure to come out in 2007, most in early 2007.

Nice list there for 07...much to look forward.n However, For myself the most important cd coming out in 07 is the new RICHMOND FONTAINE, due in February I believe. CANNOT WAIT.

The new album by the PINES is another one I am looking forward to. They are such a great group out of Minneapolis. http://www.thepinesmusic.com/ here, (there website), you can sample most songs from their amazing debut (only) album in the MUSIC CLIPS section.

Hayden's website said his new album should be out by the end of 2006, but nothing new has been reported there in a while. I bet it's gonna be an early 2007 release.

I'm pretty excited for Arbouretum's new cd, it's being released sometime in February of 07 I'm pretty sure. I really liked there last cd released in 2004, so I'm hoping this one will be just as good if not better.

I'm really excited about ''The Violet Path,'' by Low. It's slated for a late spring 07 release, and it's being produced by the same fellow that produced ''The Great Destroyer.'' It's apparently about death and murder, perfect subjects for Low!

There are still a few more albums to be released this year that I'm excited about. First and foremost, based on the recent buzz about it on the Best Records of 2006 thread, is the Joanna Newsom record.

I'm also pretty interested to hear the new Damien Rice and Swan Lake, although I haven't heard good things about the latter.

Since this has become the de facto 2007 release thread, I'm glad to report that I just found out that the New Pornographers have a new album coming out next summer. Wheeeeeeeee

No solid release date yet besides "spring", but the Arcade Fire's new album, "Neon Bible", will be amazing, I'm pretty sure. They played a song on some British radio station, and it's... good lord. It's good.
