I've been watching more music videos since YouTube hit the scene, and I was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on the best music videos of 2006. My favorites so far are:
Those videos from Silent Shout were outstanding. I loved the red and black one for "We Share Our Mother's Health." I can't believe not a single one of them made it onto Pitchforkmedia's best videos of the year list, especially after they talked them up so much.
I also enjoyed all of 12 of the individual videos of from Drum's Not Dead included on the DVD. That long one with the snail was absolutely boring and terrible though.
I liked the Persephone's Bees' videos at their myspace site, though I can't recall which I liked best. Otherwise, I really haven't seen many new music videos lately.

Hoppipolla, Sigur Ros Bring Down, Malcolm Middleton The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song, The Flaming Lips I am with Stupid, Petshop Boys The Mask, Danger Doom & Ghostface Killah Use It, The New Pornographers LDN, Lily Allen
I'm not sure anything could ever beat the video Muse did for Knights of Cydonia.
