Hey, lets all laugh at rottentomatoes forums. One of the kids there asked if anyone else thought it was going to be another Catwoman and 8 people replied that "no no no, no way, Elektra looks awesome, Catwoman had really bad costumes, etc." If the Catwoman were the only thing wrong with the movie then, hell, I need to revise my opinion on the movie.

I actually think he didn't do that great a job, he totally misunderstood the personnalities of every character:

Cyclops is supposed to be the leader: does he actually do anything in X1 and 2???

Nightcrawler is supposed to be fun and cheeky but in the films he's dark and not fun

Wolverine is supposed to be a pain in the ass which he isn't in the films.

Iceman is supposed to be a joke-a-minute and yet....

But..don't tell me Singer is taking over Spiderman? You're kidding right? Raimi wouldn't give up on Spidey?...would he?
i hate to argue with you since you make some valid points but
nightcrawler was sort of funny cause he kept saying how he was from the munich circus over and over
tho he wasnt being funny on purpose it was still funny,
the issues i have with nightcrawler is they make him act like he has some sort of animal insticts like wagging his tail when hes excited, growling when hes angry, running on all fours , etc
it seems someone forgot to tell them that he resembles a demon not a puppy !!
and as for cyclops granted he doesnt do a lot of leadering but he did try to boss wolvie and there was always a weird chain of command in the comics
i completly agree with youre assesment of there personalties theyve turned rogue from a volumptious - take no b.s - southern hellfire with a feminist streak,
to a whiney teenager with issues her personality is more like kitty prides than rogues and wolverine is a much nicer guy in the movies than in the comics and especially in the cartoons
i could go on and on about "dr" jean grey and the rest but i have just learned to accept the creative liberties that directors take with the material
i start to feel silly getting upset that supermans fortress of solitude is made out of ice
and when he gets all cocky but unfort there is nothing we can do about it but gripe Frowner

Iron Man could be pretty cool, particularly if they don't play down the darker edges of the character (the alcoholism, the heart problems) in favor of comic book action. I can see Tom Cruise in that part, particularly after his darker turns in Magnolia and Collateral...

i read something in ew that seems like theyre not gonna veer away from the darker edges tho i dont think thats what makes a good comic book movie honestly both spiderman movies have more lighter moments than dark ones but the feel authentic to the comic Smiler

According to the recent ads, if you go to see Elektra, you get a preview for The Fantastic 4!!!

That might be the only reason to see Elektra...

The reviews are Elektra are not surprising at all. I would've expected it even to get lower.

This just in, "Elektra" failed miserably at the box office on opening weekend, getting in fifth place and losing to both "Coach Carter" and "Meet the Fockers."

Hey, don't forget what he did to Rogue! First off he revealed her REAL name, which they had NEVER done in the comic & then he made her a weak little girl! In the comic she is a well developed woman who everone WANTS to touch but, can't! In the movie you touch her &(powers or not)you're in trouble!(Anyone seen the pedophile segments on Dateline?) In the comic she permanatly absorbed Ms. Marvel's powers(killing her), so, she can fly, has super strength, & is nearly invincible! In the movie she's not good for much at all on the team, which is why it was upsetting that she cured herself in "X3" & at the same time made sense since she was pretty much useless. What did she do in the movies? Let's see...She got stabbed by Wolverine, used by Magneto, she did put out a fire by stealing Pyro's power, she was sucked out of the X-Jet, she acted like she was going to touch Magneto(then copped out), she flew the X-Jet(very poorly), she was protected by Colossos in the Danger Room, She was jealous of Kitty Pride with Iceman, & she got cured. We coulda did without her.

Sorry to bust your bubble guys but, it's gonna be Robert Downey Jr. I was a little disappointed at first & then I figured, who could be better to play a charachter that suffers from substance abuse than an actor who suffered from it?
By the way, who's ready for "Ghost Rider"? I'm not a fan of the comic but, I will be seeing the movie! The few effects I saw in the teaser trailer were AWESOME! Also, "Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer" looks like it'll knock the first out of our minds, if they only include Galactus. He wasn't in the trailer I saw & I don't see a good reason to have the Silver Surfer appear with out his original master.
"Spider-Man 3" looks like it's going to ROCK! It seems they'll be going by the cartoon origin for Venom instead of the original comic origin.(Which is a little complicated to place in a movie since the costume was made on another planet specifically for Spider-Man because his costume was destroyed in the 'Secret Wars' storyline.) I'm also excited to see Sandman, as well. I'm still wondering if they're going to take Harry Os & make him the Green Goblin for a possible third villian.
There are talks that a new "Punisher" movie is in the works with Jigsaw being the villain. For those unfamiliar with the story: Jigsaw was a handsome criminal that Frank Castle threw through a plate glass window, cutting his face up something fierce. I mean, disfigured like the dude in "Hannible" who cut up his own face! So, now Jigsaw has a personal vendetta against The Punisher.
Rumor also has it that there is a "Wolverine" movie in the works! Hopefully, they give him a fantastic Supervillian such as: Cyber, an insane monster of a man with an adamantium layer over his skin. The only person Wolverine is afraid of! Sabretooth but, only if they make him the sh*t talking S.O.B. he is in the comics & not the silent type from the movie. Or maybe Pierce, a human who cybernetically enhanced his body & is quite a foe! He also made Lady Deathstrike the way she was. (She was never a mutant by the way! I hate that they screwed that up in the movie, too. Then they killed her! She was to GREAT of a villianess to just kill off!)
Finally, Marvel has put together their own studio & it's been rumored they're putting together a NEW "Hulk" movie as their first solo project. They weren't happy with Ang Lee's version, so, this one will be completley seperate from that one. That should make some people happy to see the Hulk again!
That's all I can think of right now, but I'll hit you up with new upcoming Marvel Comic releases as I get the word.

So, Eric Bana will be coming back, which is okay, right? I mean, when they were considering David duchovny, it seeemed like Hulk 2 was going towards re-alienating audiences who already felt unsure about some of Hulk 1's decisions.

I haven't seem much in over a year in terms of fresh Hulk 2 rumors. Except for that 6 degrees of separation thing between one of the pre-vis guy and his help in that indie short from the lot:

Anyway, I kind of liked what Lee was trying (bringing some of the eye, emotional, thing from his Hong Kong movies) even though it nearly ended his career.

Um, no, he won't be back. Marvel is changing the entire cast & basically starting over. This second "Hulk" is not going to be considered a sequel by Marvel's standards. It will even have a much better villain in the Abomination!

Tom Cruise and Tony "Iron Man" Stark are both a couple crude bastards, so the casting would fit
like a glove or an iron suit or whatever.

I thought Daredevil was the worst major film Marvel had anything to do with. What a disgrace to the comic series. I was hoping Fantastic Four would have had the look and smarts of Sin City. But sadly it was the Forgettable Four. What I enjoyed about the Hulk film- Jennifer Connelly. MMMmmm.

I do love the X-Men and Spiderman series, warts and all.
