I'm trying to remember the name of a movie, I don't know any of the characters or actors names, but I do know most of the plot:

A woman tries to leave her husband after catching him cheating but he tries to keep her and their daughter there. Her father and friend help her escape. She takes a plane somewhere with her daughter. ---I don't know what happens in the middle--- ultimately she takes self-defense classes and finds her husband to kill him. She packs up a black duffel bag of stuff like a device to keep all phone calls from coming in or going out and rings for each finger like brass knuckles. She breaks into his house, puts up the equipment to keep him from calling for help, and she finds all his hidden guns and waits in the rafters above his bed until he comes home. When he does they fight with each other, there's a point where she pretends to be knocked out then attacks him when he reaches down to pick her up. She ends it by throwing him off what seems to be a balcony in his house, he lands on a glass table and he dies. She packs up all her stuff, changes her clothes and puts it all in the duffel and throws it in the river. She then returns back to the place to call police and claim self defense.

I'm pretty sure the woman's hair is black.

I haven't seen the movie, but I'll guess Enough (2002) with Jennifer Lopez. However, something about your plot description sounds like a made for television movie that I caught myself seeing periodically late one night. It would help if you could provide a date or year the movie was released came out or seen.
