It seems that several car chases have been mentioned around here, so how about a category just for them. There are too many to list, so I won't bother since that's your job. One that I think hasn't been mentioned yet is the chase in "To Live and Die in L.A." which ends up going the wrong way on an LA freeway. It's not necessarily my favorite but worthy of attention.

I loved the chases in French connection in Bullit but, for some reason, I love the Matrix Reloaded chase, very impressive

One chase scene I particularly enjoy is in Colors, when Penn and Duvall chase the crips through the back streets of L.A. after a drive by at a funeral. I find the scene to be filmed very well, and looks like it could be out of an episode of Cops!

Im gonna have to agree with Nygma. Although the movie sucked, the action scenes and car chase scene in the Matrix Reloaded were spectacular.

Ronin does rule Bucky, but if you guys haven't seen The Bourne Supremacy yet, you haven't seen nothin' yet. I have seen a lot of great car chases but I was blown away.

Also, these scenes are primarily in action flicks, but we can't forget the amazing chase scene in The Blues Brothers. I'll go ahead and second that for Jakal since he's M.I.A as of late.

I just have to mention the Motorcycle Vs Truck chase in Terminator 2 and the car chase in T3, both really cool.

Blues Brothers...greatest...ever.

One that hasn't been said yet was the one in Termonator 3!!! Frekin awesome!!!

It must be mentioned: Castle of Cagliostro. I believe that Steven Spielberg called this the "greatest car chase in cinematic history" or something to that effect.

The car chase scene in Matrix Reloaded was pretty cool, too, even if it was basically the whole movie.

It begins with 'Bullit", through "Vanishing point" to "Smokey and the bandit" and "Cannonball run".

Then there's the car chasing a train in "The french connection" and the boat chase in "Death in venice".

That tank chase in the James Bond movie is great, and I also like the tow-truck chase in "Terminator II".

But my object of desire is Eleanor.

bourne identity. its like the rocky of car chases. the little hunk of junk vs. the police cars.
