If you can excuse me for starting 3 new boards today, I thank you. Any Elmore fan will be disappointed to hear what I am about to say: Be Cool, the new Get Short 2-ish movie, is rated pg-13. Now, while I am not against movies with less violence than the average gangster fare, isn't that kind of the point of the movie?!!? What are they going to do???? DUMB IT DOWN FOR THE TEENS? Grah, I hate this.

Yeah it seems like most movies are being watered down in order for the movie to be pg-13. Which is a shame considering all of the good movies (And some bad movies with high grossing i.e. Titanic) that are rated "R."

I liked Get Shorty. It's been years since I've seen it, but "Cadillac of minivans" is one of those phrases I'll remember for years to come. I'll probably rent it again sometime soon to see if I still like it.

Anyway, I saw a trailer for this a while back. Apparently, Chili gets into hip hop culture in this. I balked at the idea when I first witnessed it, and I still do. BALK! BALK! BAAAAAALK!

I predict this movie totally blows and ruins the first one for me forever. BAAAAAAAAAAALK!!

"Titanic", which isn't a bad movie, is rated PG-13, for Kate's "dirty pillows."

Okay to state my beef with "Titanic" while not throwing this thread off too much I will give you this link. My point is that it grossed a HUGE amount of money and didn't have to be "Pg-13."
