New album is really fun, not to mention high quality. Glitchy pop songs with lots of arcade game snippets and retro electronic sounds. Great to dance to or just to listen to on the headphones. Lots of layers of sounds, interesting vocals and tempo changes make for a unique and solid album.

I've been waiting for this album for so long.

Bootleg EPs were not enough to satiate me.

that's not mind blowing, but it's good. I like the Nintendo-like songs, but i've heard other artists make that kind of music before. I'll probably want to listen their full-lenght

The new album is fantastic, save Magic Spells, I think it drags on for too long. But the album is very fun, very awesome.

I saw them last night live and they KILLED the show. So seeing them again. HEALTH also played before them, and a lot of people were turned off by their noise...I loved it though.

Love it! Favourites are Untrust us, Crimewave and Air War. Dangerously catchy Razzer
I found this...I'm of the opinion it needs to be made the official video.

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure that a legit version has yet to be leaked yet.. that's why I stopped talking about the album, all the leaks seem off.

I'll just wait for my copy to arrive in the mail.

Perhaps. In the meantime, I just substituted the full version of "Air War" into the leak I have and now everything sounds... reasonable.

And I dig the Alice in Wonderland video.

You're probably right. I doubt the two versions I downloaded are official. Nonetheless, these songs are amazing. It's hard to imagine how an electronica band could create someting so fresh and original, but these guys have done it.

I'm anxious for the official release so that I can hear what everyone else thinks of Crystal Castles.

If you want, I can upload one of the EPs from a couple years back. It's a bootleg that they made for a few songs which I got my hands on. It's got 7 short tracks but it's damn good (and most of them show up on the new album)

These are the songs that i've found and downloaded from these guys:

From "Thrash, Thrash, Thrash" which, unless i'm mistaken, is the title of their debut album slated for a March 18 release. I have no idea whether or not this track list represents the official track list or not. But as i've said, the songs are great.

01. alice practice
02. xxzxczx me
03. magic spells
04. dolls
05. air war
06. insecticon
07. no skin
08. d
09. love and caring
10. untrust us
11. bitter hearts

"Crimwave: Crystal Castles vs. Health", this collection of tracks is probably akin to the bootleg you've got Jglass. I know they collaborated with Health on the track "Crimewave", the rest of the tracks, I dunno.

01. 1983
02. Black Fag
03. Crimewave
04. Drink N' Fuck!
05. Rot
06. Rot-1
07. xxzxczx me

Thrash Thrash Thrash is a random torrent I've been seeing a lot lately (which is what I originally thought the debut was too, I have not been able to find any info on it) but the debut is s/t and the track listing is different.

The EP I have is the same plus a track called "Mother Knows Best", then I have a sampler that's "Untrust Us," "Crimewave," and "Alice Practice".

"Thrash Thrash Thrash" is what Crystal Castles tag themselves in their MySpace genres. I have no idea why people are calling that their debut title.

I've realized that, but the "Thrash Thrash Thrash" track list is wrong... however a legit scene leak has surfaced of their s/t.

Ah, thanks for the update. I also noticed that the leak has a higher bitrate. I'll be snagging that one.

I'm really glad that they decided to add "Crimewave" to their full length. It's such a totally friggin' rad track, probably best track on the album.
